In the of the story the various members of Creon’s family had died. The only ones that were still alive in the play were Ismene and Creon. His wife staved her self when she found out her son Heamen had killed hiself after finding out Antigone had hug herself. I think this punishment is hitting creon right on his face. He did not listen and thought that he could do anything and that he would not get anything bad for him, but he was wrong. I think the only reason creon survived was because maybe the gods wanted him to pay in life for all the bad he did, by dying he would stop suffering and would not pay for everything he did. Creons thoughts and feelings about his life and feelings at the end of the story is that he has nothing else to live for because he has lost all the people that loved him an cared for him.At the end of the play i feel bad for creon because he has no one and it was caused because of his arrogance and thinking that he was better than anyone else and that he could do what ever he thought he could and a person like that is someone to feel piety for.I think creon did change through the course of the play but he changed when it was too late and everything he had was lost. Its really a good thing to noticed what you had and that now its gone especially is it was because of the arrogance of your person.
